It was refreshing to try another restaurant from The Bistro Group with only one restaurant this time. The last time I've tried restaurants from them was a food crawl. :D It was overwhelming and sometimes it is really hard to review especially if you need to taste a wide array of food. No, I am not complaining I just want to tell you that reviewing one restaurant at a time is really what I prefer. I am always thankful for these food reviews from my Zomato family. Anyway, I know my introduction is so long so please bear with me.
Hello Watami Grill & Sushi Bar! They are located at the 4th flr, Uptown Mall BGC. Aside from Korean food, I am also a fan of Japanese restaurants. I can't get enough of sushis and California Maki. On this foodie meetup, they let us taste their new offerings. Check it out below. Before anything else, we were first served with hot tea.

Let me just say that, all the new offerings are good! The only dish that I was not able to taste was the latter. I was really focused on how great the aburi's are. Both are really good! I considered those two my favorites. The salad is sweet with the mangoes on it. I enjoyed the thinly sliced cucumbers. I also liked the Chasoba Salad, it was interesting. The Nori Nachos is something unique and I can't escape the fact that I can eat all of this by myself! :D Kani Udon was cooked al dente and it was really creamy without the umay factor.
