Dampa sa Cogeo is barely new. I finally tried it together with my family before we went home from Nuvali to feed the koi fishes. This is the very first themed restaurant in Cogeo and I was a bit surprised that it has an Instagram-worthy interior.
There were so many designs outside and inside Dampa sa Cogeo. I was confused though on what is the focus of the interior designs. From the outside, it seems like a garden but when you are inside it has a rustic and wooden vibe.
Here's how it looks at the first floor.
Let's go to the second floor.
I hoped they stick to the wooden theme and use wooden chairs instead of monoblocks.
Now, let's check out the food. We only ordered 2 dishes. Bulalo (PHP280) which is one of their bestsellers, Lechon Kawali (PHP190) and Pork Sisig (PHP180). The price is quite affordable. The total cost that we paid was PHP830 which includes one liter of softdrinks and 4 cups of rice.
As you all know, Dampa is known for kinds of seafood they serve. They have fresh seafood outside which you can order for them to cook. Maybe we'll order it some other time. There is nothing really special on the dishes. Quite the ordinary. The Bulalo tasted bland. The Lechon Kawali was crispy enough though it was not freshly cooked. Feeling ko kasi umaga pa lang luto na 'sya. Madami ang serving ng Pork Sisig and it also tasted good. The dishes are all good for groups. We even took home some leftovers. Platters are also available such as ISKARGU (ISda, KARne, GUlay), Meat, and Seafood.
Sobrang bilis ng serving time! It only takes them around 5 minutes to serve all our food. As I understand, serving time kasi yung issue nila before sa mga previous customers. Some were even complaining that the food were served after almost 1 hour waiting. The staffs are all courteous and polite. They can still improve, though I wouldn't mind going back.
