Hello guys! Sorry for the lack of personal post here on the blog. If you'll notice, a few Press Releases have taken over the blog. I am still thankful for those PR's (and other sponsored posts here and there) because I have something to toss over here on the blog somehow. Forgive me as I can't really come up with a decent personal post even if I wanted to. A lot of things are happening in my life and well I don't want to complain as I always say, it makes my life meaningful and the blood rush inside me, when I am busy, makes me alive too.
What I've been busy with for the past few days? I am currently having the training to be a Sunlife Financial Advisor (I was licensed just this April 2018!). Yep, aside from working and blogging, I finally entered the life of an insurance agent. I can't believe it as well! I will try to have a separate post on my experiences being a financial advisor soon. Imagine my schedule as I still try to attend blog events and attend to my kids' needs. My twin boys will start schooling this June and as April approached, I enrolled them in a summer class.
And speaking of summer, I am looking into registering my kids for classes that might interest them. Though we are not blessed with a lot of money resources, we still try to let our children get engage with different summer activities. I wanted to enroll my kids in a swimming lesson but my partner insisted on teaching them instead. And then I discovered my other twin's skills in Photography using my iPhone. I don't know where he learned those angles and filters. Would you agree with me that he has the potential of taking photos? See the pictures below of some of the images he took.
My kids are sponge-absorber. I don't let them hold gadgets. I also make sure that I screen those tv shows and I am with them when they watch it. And if they hold gadgets, that is the time when we are asleep and they will sneak it out. Eros is the one who took interest in taking pictures. Maybe he saw that flat lays that I've been doing. I'm quite proud and for that I let him hold my iPhone even for a few minutes only.
On the other hand, Deus is fond of drawings. He drew a lot of spiders on our wall. Our wall now looks like a mural! He is so fun to watch especially when he is counting the legs of the spiders. They don't really feel writing on a paper so I let them be. Besides, sabi nga ng papa nila, pader lang yan, pwede pang pinturahan! :D
These kids surprised me in their own little way! I am just so proud of witnessing their every little milestone! Hindi lang pala kakulitan ang meron sila! :D
I am not really sure if there is a workshop for toddlers on photography and drawings but for the meantime, I already enrolled them in a summer class and will also try the fastfood kiddie workshops out there. But do you have any other suggestions that might help me? Any workshop out there that is affordable? Any camera suggestions for a toddler?
