Welcome again to another Foodcrawl c/o our friends from Zomato PH. This time we traveled all the way to Laguna and check out some delicious food, sweets and coffee! Nuvali now has developed into a recreational place aside from the booming of residential houses. I can still remember the first time I went here, there's not so much restaurants to dine to. And being a great place to hang-out with your families and friends, it has expand to a great foodie haven. Lies in Nuvali is a small complex that has a lot to discover, that is Solenad. Here are some restos/coffee shop that you should try the next time you visit Nuvali.
THE COFFEE BEAN & TEA LEAF
The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is already a staple in terms of coffee even if you are in Manila. But if you found yourself lost in Laguna, you can grab hot/cold coffee and pair it with their yummy cakes. Must try cakes are Lemon Pistachio, Mocha Cake and Triple Decker Cheesecake. I love the latter because its rich but not too sweet. They also have several options on their drinks. Before I already tried some their hot beverage like the Moroccan Mint Tea. This time I tried their Original Mocha Frappe which really goes well with their cakes. We also tried African Sunrise that was recommended by one of the foodies which was good too!

CLASSIC CONFECTIONS
Classic Confections leveled up their game in terms of cakes. They are actually the ones behind CBTL cakes. We are so lucky to try their Sylvia's Strawberry Shortcake and Nono's Chocolate Oblivion. I love the first for its fluffiness and not too sweet one that contains strawberries inside. The chocolate one was full of revelation inside. It was chocolatey to the highest level.
But that's not all, they also have super cute cookies! They go with the flow of innovating their products. Like making Beauty and the Beast cookies as it premiered in the country. Can't help myself and bought something for my twins. I got a train and airplane cookies and my kids don't want to eat it! Seriously!
Another favorite is their almond crunch that you can take home for pasalubong.

WING STOP
Wing Stop is not new to me. In fact I already dined at their Wing Stop Eastwood branch when our office is still there. Their branch here in Laguna was more spacious and bright. I was soo lucky to try several flavors for their Wings this time. Excluding Atomic (spiciest!), we tried Spicy Soy, Mango Habanero, Cajun, Hot Buffalo, Mild Buffalo, Honey BBQ, Honey Garlic, Garlic Parmesan, Hickory Smoked BBQ, Lemon Pepper, Louisiana Rub, Korean Soy, and Teriyaki. We also tried their flavored fries such as Louisiana Rub, Cajun, Garlic Parmesan that costs P99 for regular and P119 for large. While the Texas-Style fries costs P79 for regular and P99 large. Cheesy Salsa fries is P149. Aside from fries they also have Onion Rings, Cheesy Salsa Nachos and Coleslaw. Let's not forget their dips! They have ranch, bleu cheese, honey mustard, bbq, atomic and cheese.
The season of Lent is on its way, so they also introduced their Batter-Fried Fish Sandwich (Ala-carte P159, Meal P199).
Wings Stop is definitely your one-stop resto for wings!

CAFE ARABELLE
Our second to the last stop was Cafe Arabelle. Cafe Arabelle started last December 2016. Their main focus is Italian Cuisine but also have Western and Spanish sides. They also have Filipino food. Their ambiance is homey and interiors are cute. The designs on their table got my attention. When we entered the place, a family is also dining. And with that, it is indeed a great place for family occasions. They served us their bestsellers Arabelle's Special Salad P270, Seafood Marinara P335, Arabelle's Creamy Mushroom Pasta P400. Must try's for me are Grilled Bacon Pancetta P275, Buffalo Pizza P520 and Arabelle's BBQ Ribs P740.

THE PIG PEN
Last and definitely not the least for our stop was The Pig Pen. The Pig Pen is a casual dining place which owners are the same with Black Pig in Alabang. They offers food that is Asian and Europian mixed. They actually have a combination of everything. It is a restaurant/bar. The interior is consists of cute pigs that are drawn on their walls. They do breakfast too and have their own coffee supplier. A good hang-out during weekends as they serve different drinks, beers and local brewers.
We honestly enjoyed our last stop at The Pig Pen. They served us not only delicious food but pleasing to the eyes too. Every food was plated nicely, was thought carefully and some has its own twist. Their Black Ink Croquette is far different from the croquettes that I tasted. Their Homemade Potato Chips and Nachos are good combination with their wide arrays of drinks. Papa Dom Nachos which has Indian Tortillas is their newest offering.
I love their Grilled Tamarind Chicken, Pork Belly Kimchi and Bone Marrow.
Meals are all for sharing but they also have solo plates. The Pig Pen is one the places that I recommend for you to visit when you are in Nuvali.

Listing all these gave me a lot of reasons to visit again Nuvali soon and not just go there to feed Koi fishes. :) I hope you enjoyed this post! Until our next foodcrawl! Special thanks to our family from Zomato PH!
