Tucked away in the busy streets of Antipolo is this cozy and relaxing cafe, Yellow Bird Cafe x Kitchen. It is located at the entrance of Mission Hills Subdivision. Though I am living at L.A. (Lower Antipolo :p), it was my first time stepping on this part of Antipolo. It is really exciting to discover new cafe's not beyond your usual destination.
This cafe was our last stop for the Love Food Crawl together with fellow zomato foodies. Upon entering, you can see hearts everywhere. Undeniably, it was February the love month where every couple or maybe even friends would love to visit this cafe.
Interior designs are on point, not to mention the exteriors too.
Yellow Bird Cafe x Kitchen offers basic and uncomplicated menu. They have breakfast, pastas, sandwiches, desserts and coffees too.
Now let's go to the food that was served.
Crunchy Okoy P155. I like that it's really crunchy and crisp.
Nachos P150.
Smoked Salmon Fresh Salad with Vinaigrette P165.
Lumpiang Shanghai (20 pcs) P180.
Roast Beef P220.
Pork & Squid Adobo P185
Gising Gising P115. This is one of my fave among the dishes.
Baked Lemon Chicken P235. Following Gising Gising is this dish.
Chicken Pesto P160.
Iced Latte P110
I went home to attend to my baby girl's need so I hadn't had a chance to try the desserts.
Overall, the dishes are okay. It was simple and don't have any wow factor for me. I'm not sure if it's just me but coming from the other two restaurants that day, they were really hard to top off. On the other hand, I can guarantee that this is one of those place that you can go to romantically with your other half. Try having their cafe and a slice of cake, maybe that would make a difference because the ambiance is there, the coziness too. Don't worry about the parking, they have an ample space for that. And if you really want a quiet and relaxing place, just for yourself, well try and check this one out.
