It was another magical Christmas at SM Marikina where they launched the Shopkins center display last November 6, 2016. Shopkins are pint-sized line of super cute, super tiny, grocery-themed toy collectible from Australian company called Moose Toys. They are inspired by items from each aisle in the grocery store and housed in adorable shopping bags, carts or even shelves. There are more than 200 different characters to collect and trade, including Rare, Ultra Rare, Special and Limited Edition characters that feature special finishes and are grouped by different sections of the supermarket, from Sweet Treats to Frozen Food to Toiletries. Kids can complete their Shopkins experience with grocery store play sets that connect to create the ultimate Shopkins World!
Before the program started, a choir group serenaded everyone with Christmas songs. It really feels Christmas already!
Along with the adorable Shopkins, Shoppies like Popette, Jessicake and Bubbleisha are also in the scene. Viva Artist Ataska Mercado joined the event too and sang a few Christmas songs for everyone.
And we got so excited when finally they had the countdown to start the Shopkins Magical Christmas!
And what is Christmas without Santa Claus? He joined the festivities last November 6 and gave away special gifts to kids plus everyone can have a chance to snap a selfie with him.
Children were also treated with sweet treats after the program.
