In line with the Citibank Dining Program, I was invited together with some Zomato Foodies on a two day food run of the participating restaurants for their ongoing promo of 30% OFF on selected menus. We had a total of 12 restaurants in two days! It was quite overwhelming so I'll just show some mouthwatering pictures and let you know which are my favorites.
Food Run Day 1
Food Run Day 1 was held at Uptown Place Mall in BGC. The participating restaurants are Itallianis, Buffalo Wild Wings, Watami, Moes, Texas Roadhouse and Village Tavern that's in Bonifacio High Street.

The Truffle Fries are good, seasoned well with salt. I loved it with the dip or without. I devoured most of the bowl I think. He He He. I was delighted with the Spinach Artichoke Formaggio, it was my first time to taste one. It was paired with a garlic bread and they complement each other. Did I say that it has mushrooms too? I love everything with mushrooms! I consumed more of the grapes on the salad. :)

The Ultimate Nachos have chili, pico de gallo, shredded lettuce, jalapeños, queso and salsa all atop of mound tortilla chips. The Tablegating Sampler consists of traditional wings spun in your favorite Buffalo Wild Wings sauce or dry seasoning. Served with soft pretzels and queso, warm pita chips with spinach artichoke dip and bacon, cheddar and mozzarella stuffed jalapeño pepper bites which was kind of a surprise. Their Asian Zing Chicken Salad was served with light asian sesame dressing. It has their signature asian zing sauce garnished with Mandarin oranges. The Tablegating Sampler was a mixed of spicy and salty where the pretzels balanced it all off with its creaminess and freshly baked

Their Chicken Salad Bowl was served in a fried tortilla bowl which you can also consume. It had homemade dressings; southwest vinaigrette and chipotle ranch. Their Nachos was good for sharing. Crunchy corn tortilla loaded with queso sauce, beans, pico de gallo, cilantro and pickled japaleños. They also have several options for salsa that we tried.

The Watami Salad is a myriad of textures and was kind of refreshing. Mixed garden greens, tomatoes, grilled teriyaki chicken, fresh shrimp, crispy wonton chips and special tuna mayo dressing. The gyoza was served hot and really enjoyed it. Their Ceasar Salad had a hot spring egg that added flavors to it.

They served Cactus Petals which are fried onion rings and Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad. The combo appetizer consists of Rattlesnake Bites which are cheese poppers, Buffalo Wings, Potato Skins with bacon bits and cheese. We also had their complimentary bread roll that was served hot and it was really really good even without the dip. I forgot how many I consumed. :)

It was a first time for me to try a salad with Avocado on it. I was used to Avocado as a dessert. The salad was quite refreshing to me and because avocado is really my favorite. So put it on anything, I'll eat it! :) It has freshly romaine lettuce with taco seasoned shrimps, avocado, tomatoes, red onion and nacho strips tossed in taco dressing. I am a bit biased but I also loved the Habana Mexican Style Grilled Corn with Mexican smear and Feta cheese. It was cooked well so no reasons not to finished it off! Bayou cream sauce was really distinct on the blackened Shrimp, reminds me of the rich sauces in Malaysia.

Food Run Day 1 was held at Greenbelt 5 and SM Mall Of Asia. The participating restaurants are TGI Friday's, Bulgogi Brothers, Krazy Garlik, Fish and Co., Modern Shanghai and Tonkatsu.

Krazy Garlik menu are good with garlic's on it hence the name. I was a bit surprised that I liked the menus served because I am not really a fan of garlic, not when its cooked. We had the Amazing Krazy Garlik Salad, which by far was my favorite among the salads that was served during the 2 day food run. The Imperial Spring Rolls was full of flavors with its ingredients such as rice noodles, ground beef etc.

Their Garden Salad was assorted greens tossed in balsamic vinaiggrette served with crispy garlic slices, ikan dilis, tomatoes and cucumber ribbons, then drizzled with Japanese masyo. The dilis really added the flavor to it. The Fried Calamari was coated in spiced flavor which was actually tolerable and was deep fried to golden brown. I also loved it squeezed with lemon. My favorite dish would be the Mussels in Garlic Lemon Butter!

The restaurant that I enjoyed on the 2nd day of food run would be Bulgogi Brothers. I loved everything that was served and didn't limit myself on just tasting them. I thought the Beef Bulgogi Salad was sweet but it was a little sour which was ok with the combination of the greens and the sides. I love the sides, I have to taste all of it! The Tofu Steak was what I really liked the most. I loved the combination of the sprouts with it.

Well, I thought I already had my favorite resto in a day but I'm afraid I'm wrong when we came to Modern Shanghai. We were served with their amazing dumplings! The Steamed Shrimp & Pork Siumai was good but didn't consume much because I'm afraid I can't go on to the last stop anymore. Ha Ha Ha. It was my first time to taste the Xiao Long Bao, and it was really good! The soup at the very bottom makes it more awesome! But the star would be the Steamed Buns with Egg Yolk! It was the best thing ever! Definitely would come back for that one!

Finally, the last but not the least. We had the Calypso Calamari Salad which had a bit of sweetness to it because of the chunks of pineapples. I loved the Mozzarella, it was coated in their special Italian-style breading, then deep-fried and served with a rich marinara sauce. The Nachos are deep fried tortilla chips covered with rich cheese sauce, chili and pico de gallo that needs to consume immediately to prevent sogginess, served with fresh salsa.
