Team Carlo Invades Casanjo Garden Resort

Finally a Team Building for the team! I've been with the company for more than 2 years, switched to different teams and yet this is our very first team building. It was very hard to plan it at first because most of us are prioritizing weekends as for family day. Our team leader even suggested to just have a buffet somewhere near our office but we were really eager to have a swimming overnight. Then it was finalized that we will be having our team building at Casanjo Garden Resort inside Green Park Village Cainta. It was the best place for us which is accessible and affordable.

Casanjo Garden Resort is owned by a family which is connected to a residential unit in Cainta. We are amazed that it has a bridge from the resort going to the residential unit.

We took our colleague's car going there. We just follow the instructions of the GPS from Google and it was really funny on how it was instructing us to turn left then turn right immediately. But we manage it, we saw signs along the way. If you don't have a private car, there are tricycles at the gate of the village. We paid for an entrance of P170 each and our tables and chairs are free of charge. We actually planned to stay until 6am only (we reached the place at around 1am after our shift-Saturday). That's the best part of staying here, you can go home anytime you want. They have a corkage fee 100 pesos per case of beer if you will not buy from them. We brought our own food and drinks that we bought outside.

They have 4 pools. One on the upper deck (I didn't get to picture it because a group is currently there), the main pool with slide, the covered pool and the kid's pool. They also have a function hall for events and rooms.

This is the main pool that is above 5 feet deep with a slide. Just be careful with the side pumps because I was sucked big time! I even screamed and was really surprised. The pools are clean aside from the floating leaves and insects.

We arranged our things just beside the covered pool (which is not covered by the way) and as soon as our things are okay, we immediately devoured on the food. Yes we are all hungry!

Then it's swimming time!

Some of my teammates drink beer that time. It's been 2 years since I've stopped drinking alcohol, so I just enjoyed the company of my colleagues and swim.
