"Curls run the world."
I loved curls! I loved how it gives volume to my thin hair. I even had a cold perm temporarily for 3 months. But the problem with it is, it will make your hair super dry and dead. Yes I mean DEAD. There was this time that I had it only for 3 months and it was so dry and my hair can't take it anymore even if I requested for a re-curl. But parlorista will not agree, according to them it will just worsen the situation. Too sad that I just had to asked for a re-bond instead.
So I have some other options on how to curl my hair without damaging it. Just do the No Heat curls using items that you see in your house such as hairpins, straws, socks, headband, t-shirt strips, magazines, gift wrappers, baby wipes and so many to mention. You just have to have something to curl your hairs on plus its doable and very cheap you don't need to spend so much.
On this post I will try to have a step by step guide on how to curl your hair using baby wipes.
I have a lot of baby wipes in our house (yes, because I have twins hihihi). Aside from using it to clean my twins' poop, I can also substitute it on curling my hair. (talking about tipid tips) :p
What you will need:
comb
baby wipes
shower cap
First fold the baby wipes to get a rectangular thin strip. I folded mine at least 4 times. Then use your comb to section your hair. Line up your baby wipes at the end of your hair. Roll your hair up towards your roots, keeping the strip on your hair. It's up to you if you wanted to roll your hair up to you scalp, I did mine just on the middle part so I will have the curls at the end of my hair. After you rolled it on your desired length, tie the ends of the strip to hold the hair together.
What I like about using baby wipes is you don't need to wet your hair to do the curls. Also it's reusable. You just have to wet it again with water.
Repeat the steps so you will have all sections of hair done.
So images above and below shows you the outcome after you are done with all the sections.
Afterward I will wear my shower cap and go to sleep and remove this tomorrow morning. :)
When I had removed all the baby wipes strips, I applied Pantene Miracle Water just to add shine to it.
And tada!!! Below images are the result. :)
