Back to crocheting beanies! We were invited to my college friend's son 1st birthday last weekend. Initially, I planned on buying a toy for our gift, but then I remembered that I have yarn stash for my future projects and gifts this coming holiday. So I decided to make a beanie for the birthday boy.
You can check my previous post about Owl Crochet Beanie, Football Crochet Beanie, Mike Wazowski Crochet Beanie, and Minion Crochet Beanie. The pattern is almost the same to those beanies that I made with ear flaps. I made used of my white and light blue yarn.
For the ears and snout, you can refer to this site. Then instead of crocheting the nose, I got an old button that I sewed over the snout.
I also sewed the buttons for the eyes.
And here is the final outcome. I have my ever willing model, my niece to have a nice shot when it is worn.
I hope the birthday boy will love his gift as much as I love making it for him. The money that was supposed to buy his gift was used for our transportation fee going to the party. So I was able to save! Talking about being frugal. :)
